As we enter the Persephone Period (the time of year when daylight falls below 10 hours per day) plant growth will stop until mid-February. Yesterday we made our last delivery of local susta Yesterday we made our last delivery of local sustainably grown produce to @opentablema before Thanksgiving. The harvest included Brussels sprouts, the rest of our #carrots, some gorgeous heads of lettuce, potatoes, bok choy, kale, and more. Pumpkin delivery day is finally here!!! Today we a Pumpkin delivery day is finally here!!! Today we achieved our record high donation weight of 675 lbs to @opentablema. These gorgeous edible pumpkins and winter squash have been curing in our hoop-house for a few weeks and include #longpiepumpkin, #honeynut #walthambutternut #longislandcheesepumpkin #buttercupsquash and #kabochasquash varieties. Of lesser weight, but intense flavor, we also donated about half of our harvest of numerous varieties of #garlic.
